Bedding Dispenser [ D248 - 48" Wide Conveyor ]

The BetterBuilt D200 Series Automatic Bedding Dispenser is a conveyorized unit designed to accept rodent cages discharged from a tunnel washer or can be free standing. The dispenser automatically dispenses a controlled level of dry bedding into each cage as they pass through the unit. 

Key Features:

• Automatic Cage Flipping - A patent pending device automatically flips rodent cage bottoms with 99.9% accuracy. Cages arriving from a tunnel washer are received by a sloped shelf which controls the flipping upright of cages automatically. Compatible with standard cage types, adjustments are possible for non-standard rodent caging.         Cages CaCages 
• Controlled Dispensing - A variable speed drive motor ensures a controlled level of bedding is dispensed into cage bottoms as they pass through the unit. A rainfall of bedding fills each cage with the excess returning to the storage hopper.  
• Powered Roller Conveyor - Cages are transported using PVC coated stainless steel rollers which are interconnected using heavy duty o-rings for reduced noise and increased safety. The conveyor is powered by motorized rollers strategically located for optimum performance and ease of maintenance.   
• Ease of Use - The bedding dispenser features a PLC microprocessor with Start/Stop switches, indicator lights, and variable speed controls all located in the side mounted control panel. All parts and components are non-proprietary and available from local suppliers or the factory.
• Productivity - A 10 cu/ft storage hopper can be filled manually using bagged bedding material or automatically with bedding delivered using our Sure-Flo™      Bedding Handling System model S210. 
•   Integration - Our bedding dispensers are designed for integration with our  BetterBuilt T200 Series Tunnel Washers, our Sure-Flo™     Bedding Handling Systems and our line of  Activ™  Integrated Automation Solutions.
